bsa super meteora new breech seal is in place and a new rear plastic cylinder end cap has also been fitted and a replacement front sight hood has also been fittedthe stock is very clean and has been sanded back using various grades of sandpaper and is ready for staining and oiling just didn't get around to doing this myselfthe action has been meticulously sanded back to bare metal and resprayed in satin black and looks good i have fitted a vortek molly vac seal (parachute type) and piston head adaptor which has also been weighted a little as is advised when doing this modification and a new standard cylinder spring has been fitted22 mk3 te prefix this has been sympathetically restored and some conversion has been done in that the action is now fitted in an smk xs19 stock which has been shortened a little and modified to suitshe's basically ready to go use "as is" or finish the stock the recoil pad is in excellent condition and an asi sniper trigger guard has also been fitted she will come with as you can see three tins of vintage pellets each one very much full and a set of milboro 4 x 15 sights not the biggest or the best granted but still usable and they do the job if you have any questions please ask away and this is "collection only" thankyou read morethe rear sight is absent awol as is usually the case with these older bsa's so a replacement will need to be sourced

They decided they would build 12 string and bass guitars hoping to find that knish marketbut after a few years they went bankrupt inyeah there’s the odd ding here and there but nothing seriousfrom then on i was intrigued and did some digging and found the guy that built the guitar was living in a care home in nottinghami did ask kris what happenedit’s just had the saddle replaced (bone) and had a great setupthe guitar is clean and in quite good condition for a guitar that was made ina set of new string were added making it very easy and comfortable to playit’s also had a set of tuners added some time agoeric davison known as kris was the man in chargeian and rob were living in the rented house and eventually started working togetherhe said that they were always working on a shoestring so couldn’t really advertise as it cost too muchkris told me ian was the main salesman and that most of their guitars were sold around falmouth and padstow areai managed to find out that from the guy that i bought the guitar from that he’d swapped it for a motor bike (bsa 175 bantam) in tintagel of the summer ofhow do i know it was made in because there is a punched 70 to the top of the headstock? the provenance of this guitar is very interesting as it was made in a garage just outside newquay in by three guys starting upabout a month later his goddaughter got in touch to say he had died from coronavirusafter a couple of years they did move into some premises in the newquay areakris also told me he was 94 and had just had a fall so for a couple of weeks i was only getting snippets of information then everything went quiet

This bike was bought for my nephew around when he was 12it's been in the garage ever since and has never been ridden - it still has the original label attached! all it needs now is a bit of tlc to bring it back to pristine condition (you can see in photo 3 that some of the paint's been affected by the damp in the garage)it has 5-speed shimano gearsif you need any further measurements or other info i'll happily provide
