0 disc wheels with schwalbe marathon plus 700c x 38c tyres, pannier frameworking with my bike mechanic 2 years ago, i upgraded the mechanical disc brakes to hydraulic for greatly improved braking performance, and changed the gearing to give much better climbing ratiossize: 56cm, aluminium frame, 22 gears, absolute black oval chainset, cassette with mtb long cage derailleur and jtek converter to work with shimano 105 shifters and hydraulic disc brakes, axis 2it has an aluminium frame, with rack and mudguard mounts, and has a relaxed riding positionitās currently fitted with schwalbe marathon plus 700c x 38c tyres which help smooth out the ride over asphalt and trails, and minimise puncturesthis āre-fitā cost close to Ā£ and the end result is a greatly improved bike both in terms of stopping power and ease of climbing hills with pannierssadly, due to a cycle related injury, iām now using a āsit up and begā style bike as i can no longer use a road bike comfortably and this bike, which has been my trusty commuter bike, needs a new homedesigned to be a commuter bike, it can also tackle light off road trails and paths
