He is a true rock crunching cob so is barefoot which doesn’t bother himhe has plenty of bone and feather which would make him the perfect traditional show cobyou name it he will do it! we have not succeeded in finding anything that spooks this horse, he is as bombproof as they comehe can adapt to suit any rider that he is paired with, wether it be your 90 year old granny or your new born baby, nervous or confident riders, jumpers or dressagers, hackers or endurance ridershe loads like a saint and is used as a nanny horse for nervous loadershe has been a therapy pony for my 8 year old sister who has special needs for the last 2 years, he helps her through meltdowns by lowering his head to her, he is such a loving horsehe can be a little bit annoyed at the farrier but is never dangerous or nasty, just tends to pull his foot away sometimeshe has done beach rides, fun rides, cross country, hunting and hacks daily on the open new forest with no problems at all??blackjack?? blackjack is awesome, he is the full packageblackjack is the 1 in a million horse and worth his weight in goldhe is not strong and listens to his rider to the best of his ability and is always looking to please2h, a good weight carrier, 12 years oldbased in the new forest where he can be viewedhe lives out all year round and can live on air, great doerhe can rub if he is introduced to something new (ig new location etc) which is easily controlled by putting a few drops of lavender oil on his nose or a fly rughe has been is a cart, however this is not his forte as he has not done a lot of work in this discipline

He has great potential and deserves a 10* home edit this is not a cheap horse, this is not a bombproof cob yetthis boy is very sweet, moves beautifully especially given his size but very green in a lot of ways, will make fabulous show cob with workhe is lightly backed, will walk around on the lead rein and walk and trot loosely on the lunge, he isn’t ridden away, bombproof or a first horse i will continue to work with him until he is sold and his price will increasesold 9yr old gelding looking for an experienced home to continue his educationno you can’t put your gran on and send him off down the m1 unless your looking for your inheritance earlyhe is a project with great potentiali am not in a rush to sell, best homes only which will be referenced

A real genuine bombproof cob ground manners carlton has excellent ground manners laid back loving super affectionate and handled by my little sister! he's excellent to shoe, box,clip and loads and travels perfectcarlton is snaffle mouthed with three established paces in the school, he's working a correct outline and tracks up nicely from behind however he's young and there is always room for improvement with his schooling thow i would class his schooling great for a cob of his age he's very much balanced and established in his pacescarlton 15"2 five rising six year old chaps registered maxi cob gelding with over ten inches of bone he would qualify as a medium maxi cob, he moves straight forward and correct with a show stopping presence! this lad has that added wow factor he's amazing markings, great confirmation and that super laid back temperament that we all lovehe's more than capable of doing local level dressage and showing and winning! jumping carlton enjoys jumping he's happy to jump a cross pole and jump it for what it is, however he has great scope and is super bold and brave and will happily jump a meter with ease and happy to go higher! he's very much a capable cob with a job, however he's still a cob with big solid bone so not going to say he's a world beater! but happy to go round x country and local level clear rounds and would excel on the hunt field as he's super brave and bold! hacking out carlton hacks out alone or in company he's super safe chilled and not phased by heavy traffic or farm machinery he's happy to plod along at the end of the buckle and not spooky or sharphe's super genuine and willing to please carlton is sold with full warranty he does have no lumps bumps or injuries thow he does have two mini sarcoids on his sheaf that does not affect him in anyway and cannot be seen when ridden only iff you go right underneath himhe's super safe and forgiving of his riders and will happily ride at the end of the buckle, he's not strong or sharp and a real arm chair ridebased wickford essex
