He has beautiful stable manners and loves to be groomeddespite his age he is a strong thoroughbred and needs a firm confident rider to continue with himthis is an absolutely heartbreaking decision but through absolute no fault of his own this beautiful year old gelding is looking for his next loving homei want to be as honest as possible about him therefore i want to make clear he is not a novice ridehe is a dream on the ground, great for the farrier and dentist (even the sheath cleaner) and is very affectionatehe is broken to ride and has been doing walk and trotting school work in the last 11 months which he has taken to brilliantlyhe hadn’t been worked for some time before i bought him therefore i have bought him back into light work however he has a way to go and would suit someone who is confident and wanting to bring something on morehe occasionally wanders from the mounting block however with perseverance he is great to mounthe is an ex-racer although he wasn’t very successful so has been off the track for 10+ yearswe have been hacking both alone and in small and large groups, each time he is great and looks after his riderhe is an amazing boy and he will not be going to just anyone, i want him to go to a loving home who will have fun with him and love him like we havewe have not found anything that spooks him, he hacks on the road with traffic and he’s on a busy yard with loud machinery and dogshe will come with his recently re-fitted saddle, bridle and 2 sets of rugshe is shod on both fronts and is regularly wormedour young children will walk him in with us, feed him and brush him and is especially gentle when they are aroundi am available throughout the week and next weekend for viewings but as said we want to make sure he goes to a loving home so no dealers need enquirehe is up to date with all jabs, teeth, farrier and sheath cleaner

Dora is a beautiful 4 year old, bay thoroughbred/hanoverian cross mare who is ready to go on with and has a fabulous temperamentshe is great to do in all ways and is mostly handled by my daughters, who have done great work with her so farplease ask for more information and photosshe lunges on voice command, has begun long reigning, been backed and walked around whilst being ledall of this has since been rectified with an improved feeding program, intensive worming program, regular trimming and equine dentist visitshe has lovely scope and should make a lovely jumper/eventershe is currently stabled at night with daytime turnout in a mixed group of mares and geldingsher feet had been neglected and worm count showed she needed wormingshe has been fantastic to handle throughout, not mare-ish at all, and is extremely affectionateher body conditioning score on arrival at our yard was between 2-3 on the bailey’s horse feed body score sheetshe is good to worm, trim/shoe, be led, with other horses, in field, in stables, to handle and with farm trafficover the last few months my daughters have brought her up in condition and health so that they have been able to work on her education for the last 4 weekswe bought her from a dealer in april and realised quickly that rather than being ready to go on with for my daughters (aged 13 and 11) that she was in fact a rescue case insteadshe has been on a walking hack and didn’t even blink at the traffic that went past and that included a motorbike and busit is a sad sale as we were hoping she would be the horse we could go on with but have realised that with work and school commitments that we simply do not have the time to invest in dora to help her realise her full potentialdora free schools and we have introduced poles and some small jumps to build her muscle condition up

Dudley is a beautiful and kind 163h bay thoroughbred gelding and 14 years old, he has raced in the past and has a weatherbys passportjust been shod and excellent with farrier, had teeth done, back checked all in last few months, all jabs up to date and has had his yearly sheath cleaning last monthdudley is amazing on the ground and has been handled by adults and children, he loves to be fussed and brushed, will stand to be plaited and has had young kids and dogs running round him with no problems at all, he is really laid back and chilled outdudley is not a novice ride, he is not strong and ridden in a snaffle, he is not nasty at all but can become excitable and will look at things, can be spooky and has put in an excitable buck a few times in school and out hacking he would be most suited to a competent teen or adult who wants to have loads of fun and doesn’t mind the occasional buck and will ride him through it dudley is very much loved and will not go to just anybody, homes will be vetted and would like to stay in touchcurrently lives out with access to field shelter, will happily be stabled aswell he will come with new saddle that has been professionally fitted to him over last 4 months, 2 bridles and various turnout rugs
