Upgraded to electric trike by electric bike conversions, stoke on trentyorvik electric trike, colour black, bought as a standard trike from yorvik trikes in approxthe trike is only being sold as dad has purchased a semi recumbent trike because of his disabilitiesthe trike has a lockable box on the back with the battery mounted withinsome of the original parts were upgraded by my father who bought the trike new and is a life long cyclistthe trike has had minimal use as dad has recently had a lot of surgery and could fairly be described as nearly new in conditionthe chain wheel was changed for a good quality double chainwheel and the six speed block on the back axel was replaced with an 8 speed unit thus providing 16 gears with a very useful set of ratiosthe battery was up graded and gives approx a 50 mile rangesetting 5 give you a great deal of assistance but your range suffersalso the derailleur gear arm was replaced with a shimano acera part which gives a much better gear change than the factory fitted componentsetting one provides you with minimal assistance and gives maximum rangedad found that for flat road work settings 1-2 were more than adequateplenty of room for a bit of shoppingit also has handlebar mirrorrange, does of course, depend on what setting you useat 89 years of age, he has no intention of giving up pedalling! it has a step through frame and is therefore suitable for women or menthe motor is a 250watt front wheel drive that cuts out at 15 miles per hour in accordance with regs
