vintage ('s) straw bag from barbadosa great bag that can hold plenty – as a general handbag or for shoppingthe bag is held securely closed by a brown leather effect tab with a gold tone metal disc which locks together with the twisting toggle on the other side of the bagfurther photos available upon requestthe two handles are held firmly in place, although it appears one of the brown, leather effect coverings has slipped and is exposing a small amount of the body of the handlethe base has extra support between the straw and lining for strength, but unfortunately some of the stitching of the straw in this area has come undoneunfortunately, this has torn with age, but could be replaced or repairedit has a white plastic lining, so might also be ideal for the beachhowever, they are a good size, either to hold or to put over the shoulderboth the disc and toggle have some wearthere is also some damage to the top egdge of the straw at either endfrom a pet and smoke-free homeapprox 10” tall x 15” wide (at top)used condition – some damage, please see belowone of the sides is plain, whilst the other has the word 'barbados' glued on in a black felt-like fabric, and a felt/stiched grape design, the grapes being brown buttons (akin smarties!) which have been sewn on
