Don,t use anymore as i have upgradedthis is the one with theautostar hand controller locates over celestial objects and automatically moves to the object selectedcan also be used manually8 x 25 finder scope25mm plossel eyepiece one caveat is that i have broken a catch on one of the lower tripod legs but that can probably be sortedyou can install the scope on a camera tripod with an adaptor which is included along with the camera tripod as seen in the photoscomplete with all instructions two tripodsportable and simple to use, can be used on a tabletop or fixed to a tripodideal for star,planet gazing and can be also used for terrestrial viewingcan still use the tripod
