Sold from field year old ex racer finished racing last august due to stress fracture to his hock had 4 weeks box rest then 4 weeks on walker then was out 24/7 without a rug then 4 weeks out in day and in at night hes been barefoot since august with no problems and has lived out with me for the last 3 weeks hes used to living out with mare and geldings he needs one on one and needs groundwork and taught manners he likes to be the dominant one woth horses and owner but hes not getting his own way in my field he is a project and with time and effort he will make a lovely horse the trainer was going to put him back racing but owner wanted him not to race no more he needs an experienced owner that understands hes only still a baby and will try it on he hates been faffed with while eating he will put his ears back and try to nip apparantly hes a lovely boy to ride has no vices i have videos at his old trainers from 6 weeks ago i have videos from today of my 8 year old boy taking him for a walk down the lane x read more

Rodney is a lovely laid back cob with a leg in each corner, he has been driven lightly since a 2 year old in the heaviest of traffic and really enjoys his work that even a child could drive him, he has a very laid back nature, ties up and will stand happily to be groomed, rodney loves a fuss and us good to bath he has also been placed in the show ring, my 4 year old grandson pops on him and rides him alone around the yard, this boy is 100%, he is also good to shoe and load, will happily live in or out and shares a field in a mixed herd, comes to call when out, use to all farm machinery, should mature to around 132hh once fully matured, only saling due to work commitments, sorry no loans, microchipped/ passported & wormed to date, 5* home a must for this lovely boy
