Here for sale we have a beautiful working clock garnitureit is of early 20th century antique english edwardian pottery form by ait is fairly rare today to find a complete set like this, which includes the plinth for the clockeach piece is highly decorated by transfer prints by the popular artist of the time of angelica kauffman whose name can be seen clearly on the clock artwork00 inches ~ year ~ circa/ inches ~ width ~ cmharley jones of royal vienna art pottery, fenton, staffordshire, {}the base of each piece fully marked with the printed gilt maker's mark of the period, viz: - a lion passant above a crown within a floral wreath, with the word england below, this together with the indistinct raised moulded number, 951, possibly a pattern numberthere is some slight damage to the top of one of the vases, which has been repaired and this reflected in the asking pricethank you for lookingplease see all photographs for a better description75 inches ~ depth ~ cm

If you are looking for a large and imposing french clock garniture, this is the one! this clock garniture just has about the lot in terms of quality buildsize: clock 39cm wide by 18cm deep by 48cm highin essence, the original clock owner ordered the lot! the dial has 'galipaud taveneau' and 'la roche' printed upon itnote: it is a very substantial and heavy clock set, therefore collection much preferred, if required can meet up to approx 100 miles from north lincolnshire for cost of dieselit really is a superb example of a slate and marble garniture set, it runs beautifuly, strike the half hour and number of hours on a bell and will grace any residencethe clock itself is composed of black slate with red marble inlay, with six gilt pillars, bronze panels to the bottom, mercurial pendulum, bevel edged glass to the bezel and pendulum window, french countwheel striking movement by vincenti, visible escapement in dial with ruby pallet jewels, brocot adjustment, large 6" dial and two matching garnitures which have six gilt pillars and matching broze cherubic panelsgarnitures 18cm wide by 16cm deep by 27cm high condition: excellent condition all round, the gilt fittings have not been cleaned, it's a matter of preference, they will gleam if required, i prefer it in original conditionlikely name and place of retailer
