It's keeps perfect time although the dial has seen better days and it says ansonia clock co new york on the dial and also the movement it has just been oileda beautiful statement pieceneeds to be wound up once a week, the case is either mahogany or oak not sure but it's very old, i'm afraid i know nothing other than thatbeautiful wind up clock very large 16" with drop down door in the bottom

Beautiful slate clock by american company ansonia complete with garniture there are a couple of chips as shown keeps perfect time but when the chime is wound up it keeps chiming an easy fix for someone in the know but i don't bother winding the chime up now stands an impressive 18" tall x 15" wide the brass coloured plate is on the back of the face but the back plate behind the pendulum i missing
