lead rein/ first ridden he is a saint on the ground loves a fuss will stand all day to be brushed and groomed, he’s great with vet dentist and farrier never had a sick or sorry day, monty has given us many fun days in the lead rein rings from local little shows to county level, dressage in local shoes and county shows show jumping on and off lead locally and cricklands wales and westwe have taken him all last season hunting on the lead he’ll hack out on lead of another horse through fords and busy road crossings no problem at all and very used to busy roads with all types of vehicles and machinery he at his best in the forest he’ll spend hours exploring giving us peace of mind he safe and sensible even leading horses through the more spookier areas he’ll go for a walk or a good canter happily jump away over all the rustics and logs show jumping we’ve taken part in so many showjumping clinics and shows he does perfer to follow the leader of on lead rein and will pop around a small course with rider but takes a little of a competent rider to take him round the bigger courses we have competed dressage on and off the lead rein last year qualifying for the great british champs under 12 at cricklands he’s a lunging expert walk trot canter and jumping to which my daughter spent the first year having weekly lessons on the lunging gaining her balance and seat he’s easy to catch and very sweet in the stablelike most ponies he isn’t programmed toy so does have his own mind, can will try the least, on the other hand he will stop if the child stop riding which is what makes him so good for little ones with balance issues, for the first year my daughter rode him with balance support reins to help with contact and connectionhe has lived out and stabledthis is a hard sale, he has so much to give and many more little people he can teach read morehe’s up to date with everything including teeth physio jabs trimming

He’s team chased the whole of this winter season 7 meets going clear around them all with no issues by a small 15 year old girl has followed behind someone most of the season but has taken co-lead at a few and has lead around half a course when the lead stopped! he’s been ua sj with us as is a little green but very honest and willing to learnhe’s very good with traffic we have some very busy roads and he doesn’t seem phased he’s hacked alone and in company he’s good on his own just a little more aware of his surroundings and his ears are more forward! can have the odd spook at say a pheasant in the hedge but don’t most of them!2hh irish draught x sports horse he is a fun all rounder who has done a bit of everything since being with us chunkier type without being cobby and with leg a in each cornerchamp is a 13 year old 16very good in open fields cantering alone and in company never gets strong and only goes when you tell him to good nanny horse has nannied a few of the smaller ponies with little rider on canters around the fields his only down fall is that he does have melanomas on the left hand side of his top neck area where the join is however these do not affect him at all and he’s been scoped twice and clear both times of all airways and they are benign they are more of a cosmetic issues than anything but if you can put up with looking at them he’s perfect in every over way price does massively reflect this no novices as he does get his confidence from his rider good to shoe,clip,bath,catch and load and up to date on teeth,back jabs etc and no vices plenty of pictures and videos available read morewould suit hunting/team chasing (up to intermediate) home or low level all rounder including dressage, riding club, hunter trials hacking and showjumping

Katie?? if you are looking for a happy hacker on the roads this is katieshe’s not scared of anything on the road and is a leader of a pack! she has a fantastic forward going walk without any effort and a fabulous trot, she doesn’t need constant kicking as she enjoys her rides outshe’s not spooky at all, she’s alert but doesn’t spook, she’s a sensible girl and has seen trucks, tractors, trailers everything! always the leader when out in company, she simply loves hacks out and fun ridesshe’s great in company, she’s absolutely fine with other horses in the field (doesn’t kick or bite or anything silly)even though she is a cob, she isn’t your average barrel bellied cob! katie is the most pretty, beautiful mare and will look after you on the road1hh, 15 year old mare?? up to date with vaccinations good with farrier, perfect to load and travel etc?? she only has front shoes on at the moment as she uses her power from the frontso easy to do in every single way and easy to handle on the groundshe’s stabled at night at the moment and out in the day but she’s fine to be out most of the time if she’s rugged up?? we have jumped her and she will try her best but it’s not her stony point but she will jump the odd logs out on a hack or even the small ones at sommerford! suitable for a rider who wants to hack out for miles in the safest possible way as katie looks after you always and try’s her very best
