I think nowadays they don't make these items any more, so you can say it is a rarityi have no idea which era it is from, but it is oldit still may need a little bit of tlc (a bit of chipped off paint, easy to do, and one of the glass panes is a bit loose but superglue may help)i don't know how exactly this piece of furniture is called, but it looks really nice above an open fireplace (see picture) and offers additional storage place in the two little cabinets which you can lock with a keyi had one of the glass panes replaced for £50 recently, so that's what i am charging
