This is a handmade, handwired, boutique amp and cab made by rob dix of rda and was custom built for me about four years agothe output tubes are four 6v6, providing about 28 watts in cathode biasthis means that in practice it is really a two-channel ampin the preamp there are five 12ax7/ecc83 tubesthe output stage is class-a, cathode biased ‘tweed’ stylethis is capable of producing a significant amount of preamp gainif you go to the rda site you can find lots of great info about the dualist spec & designthe amp is valve rectified via a gz34 tubea two-button footswitch (stereo cable required) activates the ‘dual’ and ‘boost’ functionsthis combination provides a very broad dynamic range, with a tight bottom end and sweet clear highsideally, it will go to someone who will take it out and gig it on a regular basis! read morethe amp is essentially a dumble style preamp, so has one channel but with a second gain stagei hate to see it go, but it has barely been used during the pandemic and i am now using a jtm45 as my main ampalso features a very subtle tube reverb & crystal-clear valve buffered fx loopon the back panel is a knob that allows the degree of overdrive in the second gain stage to be setthe workmanship is outstanding, and it is in excellent conditionthe speakers are a 10” celestion alnico gold, paired with a 12” celestion alnico creambackthis is a very loud 28 watts mind, and for gigs i have run it through an attenuator to allow the 6v6s to work their magic – this is definitely not a bedroom amp; although excellent clean and distorted tones can be achieved at lower volume (but without the chewy 6v6 power amp breakup)on the front panel, the gain 1 knob has a ‘pull-bright’ option, the bass control has a ‘pull fat’ option and the middle control ‘pull boost’ (if the footswitch is not being used)

When we bought it, about four years ago, i repaired the cushion covers - two had rips in them; there were big scratches in the desk - see picture; and a slat and plastic runners were broken in the pull out bed (still broken but doesn’t appear to affect my son’s ability to sleep on it)my son is and although he could get another couple of years out of it, he regularly sleeps on the pull out bed which is only intended for occasional usecollection onlyit is definitely going to be a useful a addition to a young person’s bedroom - really good use of space, especially in a small roomoff white colour with purple cushions on chair/pull out bedwe didn’t get instructions with it but there are instructions on the flexaworld websiteany questions or if you require more pictures, please contactwe bought the bed second hand and it has been great - very sturdy, good for reading and studying and gives an extra bed when needed, without taking up any extra roomtall single bed frame without mattressi think the make is flexa/thuka as it looks like the nordic with a ‘casa’ chair/pull out bed unit (kidsbedsonline)it has some deep scratches - see picture of desk in particular - and has had a few knocks but it’s not done too badly in the time we’ve had; it’s still in a similar conditionincludes desk, bookcase and storage box (under seat)
