I bought it about 45 years ago and it was old thendue to retirement i no longer need iti was a joiner all my life and used it many times after i got itjoiners vintage floor board crampmade by edward bracewellit will be costly to post but could be arranged if need bethis item is made of iron and is in very good and still useable condition5 inches it is made of solid iron and very heavywithout this it was almost impossible to get the boards tight togethercollection from blackpool, lancashirecan also be used on t&g chipboard flooring sheets it is approximately 42" long x 7i don't know how old it isideal tool for joiners or diy person for squeezing the boards together before nailing

The chairs were re-upholstered with new woven straw about 15 years agoi inherited the furniture 25 years ago and have used it with love ever since, but we are remodelling our house and need a lighter tablethe extension sections slide out on solid rods from under a central anchored piece and fall snugly into placethe chairs are easier to carryi cannot date the set exactly but its companion piece, a jacobean-style dresser (not for sale) was recently valued about about £ when it needed an insurance repair, and at the time the estimated period was swe are sure all of this can be sanded and polished awaythe central panel/surface has seen some action and so is paler than the darkly-varnished extension panels, having been slowly 'sanded' by use, and there are a few scratches to this section and one significant dark cup-ringcarver chair 107cm high, seat 54cm (at widest point) x 43cmfive chairs & lovely carver chairchairs 99cm high, seat 48cm (at widest point) x 40cmit's heavy, solid, and of excellent qualitythe table comes apart into a complete base section and three surface sectionstable: length 137cm (227cm when extended); width 84cm; height 73cm
