The frets were professionally leveled, crowned & polished 4 years ago and has been little used sinceit has been sparsely gigged by me for some 18 years but the condition is exceptional for its agepearl sharkfin inlays * neck thru construction (poplar wings) * jackson (licensed floyd rose) trem bridge * metalic black finish the thin profile neck has retained constant stability during the 23 years i've owned thismade in chushin gakki ('charvel plant') japan in " inch scale * quartersawn maple neck * 24 jumbo frets * hss config jackson pickupsthere is one small ding behind bridge (no break in paint) and one on the fingerboard5 way blade switch * rosewood fingerboard with bindingthe guitar should ideally go to a jackson mij enthusiastsale mainly due to the guitars 'shred image'all the hardwear is originalmy luthier has blocked off the trem to suit my style but it can be reversed in minutes & works finethe access to the 24th fret is easy due to through neck design and heel recess (see picture)the truss rod has only been adjusted once in this time in order to level frets (all my other guitars have needed yearly adjustment)the build quality is of the highest standard

Sheldon joined us 2 years ago - but sadly, due to us relocating, he'll now need a new 'forever home'he'll be around 5 years old in the summer & has a lot of life in him yethe has been neutered and is regularly treated with frontline spot-on (the only flea treatment that works where we live) and is flea & worm freehe looks even better when he's not being overfed! hopefully, you'll not have the same issuehe can be a bit nervous with new people at first (just for a while) - when we first brought him home, he hid under the sofa for the most part of two days! obviously, he gave up in the end and became a good family cat, full of characterhe has a good nature and can happily live with other pets and childrenhe's been used to dogs, cats, and giant pheasants where we live(!) - and hasn't worried about any of themhe has a microchip that you'll need to have changed at the vetsonce he's used to you, he'll sit on your lap and purr contentedlyhe's happiest when lazing about in bed or in the sun in the garden (he doesn't wander far)unless he's suddenly become a stealthy hunter (though he can be a pretty good 'mouser' when he feels like it)if you think you'd like a sheldon, and can give him the love he deserves, please do get in touchwe suspect we have a neighbour somewhere who has started feeding him treats, as he's put a little bit of weight on - and he's not been getting more from uswe're sure he'd love a cat-loving family who would give him more time than we cansheldon, 'shelley' was named prior to coming to us
