He can shy a little if he gets spooked but with a little reassurance quickly calmsbought for my 7 year old daughter who is still gaining confidence, peter is needing someone a little more experiencedpeter is lovely to hack, happy to be in company or alone, when hacking if in very close proximity to other horses can feel a little scared so needs a 1m space but happy to lead or go lasthas never needed sedation for the farrier but prefers being held with the lead rope than being tied uppeter has previously been a showing pony, photos availablepeter is a 13hh, 14 year old geldinghe can be temperamental with his girth and if heās not corrected will take the mick but with a firm no will stand still as steel and allow you tack up happilyin no rush to sell, happy to keep him until he can be replaced with the perfect pony for us so no time wastershas never bucked or reared and has no vices although doesnāt like being tied up for too long and can break awaydoes all three paces confidently, has the smoothest canter and always gets the right canter leadgiven his size needs someone on the smaller side, no more than 9safe on the ground & confident in the schoolhe is a sweet and slightly shy pony, can do small jumps/logs but more of a showing pony or school/ hacking ponyheās not strong and led by his rider, hence needing someone that can take the leadheās good to load and be clipped, he has just been rewormed up to date on his jabs and is due to have vet & dentist check in octoberhe is in work therefore not green or sillyheās a very sad sale as he is the sweetest, loving pony but we need to upgrade to a mother daughter share with something alittle biggerwith a treat by his side will stand calmly and currently has 4 shoes which we change every 8-10 weeks as heās currently living in a paddock with 3 other horses but is happy to be stabled & is out in field with several mares and geldings daily

I could write for hours about him, he is adored by us, but he now needs a new little person to show the ropes too read morein the 4 1/2 years we have owned him he has taken my daughter from being barely off the lead rein and unable to canter to out competing regularly and jumping 60+cm, but he is happiest at the height and ready to teach a little jockey all over againthis is a heartbreaking sale of my daughters best friend, but she has totally outgrown himhe loves nothing more than to lick you to death! he's done pony club camp for the last 4 years, from poles on the ground at mini camp to 60+cm cross country, showjumping, grids, games, and hound exercisehe can also be a monkey to catch when the spring grass comes through, but given he gets fat on fresh air, restricted grazing is a must to keep his weight under control and this also makes catching him easierhe is excellent in the heaviest of traffic, will hack alone or in company and will go first or lasthe is perfect to clip, shoe and load, will stand at the side of a trailer all day long and you could easily forget he was therehe is an absolute saint on the ground, will stand and be pampered all day longthey are not big or nasty and never to try and get you off, just his welsh characterhe is your typical welshie in that he can throw an occasional buck, going into canter or out of boredomup to date with vaccinations, teeth and backhe loves to be in work
