Hello! i am looking to buy my very first horse! i am on the lookout for a happy hacker, or perhaps an all rounder? ror eligible? i do not mind either way, but i am not as keen in eventing/schoolingwould prefer no vices, but can be swayeddefinitely do not want to over-horse myselfhas to be able to hack aloneage wise, preferably years but would be willing to go older or youngerbut i would like to learn a bit of dressagejust looking for something to love and enjoy lots of cuddles and go on fun rides togethernothing under 13hh and nothing over 17hh please as i am a lightweight rider, and very petite for a 20 year oldwould prefer if they were sold with tackdon’t mind a plod or if their forward goingdon’t mind any little quirks, it’ll just be me riding and i’m confident in sitting with a forward typebudget wise: i know it’s a long shot but i wanted to give it a go anyway! thank you

Fern would make a great endurance, happy hacker or even broodmare, if you think you can offer her a home then please get in touchfern loves hacking she will go for miles either on her own or in company, would make a fantastic endurance horse or just a happy hackerfern was diagnosed with low grade psd in october last year which she has since been treated for, the vet is happy with her and she is back in full workthis was not linked to any other aliments it was simply due to her back feet being to low and the heels needing to be raised so she now needs back shoes on and can not be barefoot if being ridden, can be barefoot if used as a broodmareif your looking for a horse to school or do dressage on then fern is probably not for you! she dislikes being in the school but will work nicely if you’re a good rider who knows their stuffgood to travel, shoe, clip etc all teeth, vaccinations and saddle check all up to datefern is a windsucker but don’t let this put you off she wears a collar and this works at preventing her from trying to do itshe is nice and forward so little leg needed, she genially isn’t spooky but if she hasn’t been out for a few weeks she may have a look at things but nothing sillyshe will lunge and she knows her parelli stuff which she enjoys using her brain for, she is very clevershe is the type of horse that can be left for weeks and not ride then just tack on and go! she can be a sensitive soul so needs an experienced riderthis is an honest ad so please read carefully and please don’t waste my time as this is a difficult decisionfern is the sweetest and most loving horse, she loves attention and cuddles especially if you have treats she will be your friend for lifeshe has come back in to work like nothing was ever wrong, she is striding out and loving lifeim not in any hurry to sell as the home must be right

King is 11 years old and had previously been used as a hunting horse, then he was purchased by a family for their teenager he was used as a happy hacker and then had a year break when the child lost interestcheap to keep and a very quiet lad who is happy to be in his stable all day, good with the farrier and good to box etcwe haven’t had him long but he is a gem, fit and in work now taking my tall 13 year old off but sadly with two self employed parents in the current climate one of our horses has to go and we could not sell our oldiesking is totally sound in traffic, goes on his own or in groups, and he is the dope on a rope and is always snaffle mouthedcurrently living with other geldings and he is bottom of the pile and is very kind to handle and deal withgood clean legs and open to any vet, up to date with teeth and jabs but never going to do a fab dressage test as just hates arena work, but he’s a safe solid hacking horse who loves going out for a rambleking will jump anything he comes to and cross any country
