14hh (approx) skewbald gelding 8 years old forward jumping/allrounder pony he’s currently competing classes! has jumped up to 115 at home on a single fence i’d like him to go to an experienced home only please as he can be strong schooling/jumping on grass, he’s better in a sand school but we put a gag in at home on the grass but a hanging cheek snaffle in when we’re out in a sand school/ out competing he gets placed almost every time hes out -it’s usually my daughter loosing the way round that they don’t get placed! he’s never bucked or reared in the time we have had him10* experienced home please no novices and ideally jumping home or a general all rounder! up to date with everything jabs, teeth, farrier, worming, physio etc very sad sale but my daughter doesn’t stop growing and she’s getting too big for him and doesn’t fit in his saddle properly this is the only reason he’s for sale! fit and ready to go! vids/pics on request i know all this pony’s history from birth up until now! £ ono home more important! a 2 week trial is an option with a non refundable deposit in place usually i take 10% of agreed price please call/message thank you katie read morehe’s good in the stable with company but doesn’t like to be on his ownalthough he’s on his own with us in the stable and we find a garlic lick it works a treat! fields on his own or with mares or geldings- he’s currently out 24/7 at the moment he hacks out alone or in company, he’s a forward joggy hack but no nastiness in him what so ever! doesn’t bother about traffic what we have seen with himhe’s good to clip, for farrier being trimmed (has to be twitched or sedated for shoes on) he loads straight on a trailer or lorry fine but can be bouncy once on and travelling that’s all

13yr old cob mare 14hh approxshe’s a typical mare and will try her luck if she can get away with it,so she does require a firm but fair personwhen in work she’s very willing,loves to learn,but needs a confident rider,she isn’t by any means a child’s ponyshe’s is very much a 1-1 horse,she likes the company of other horses,and she can jump like a stag when she wants tooshe hasn’t done a lot schooling wise,but is very quick to learn with a sympathetic rider,she isn’t a pony who likes being pulled around or bullied into somethinghasnt been in work for the last 12 months due to no riderto lunge she is absolutely fine,she understand voice cues etcas stated she isn’t for a child (on a lead rein she will allow children) read morefor her age she is very low mileage so education wise she is limited,we do have videos and photos of her being ridden,she’s barefoot,good doer,good to -load -travel -farrier -dentist she won’t have a set of clippers near her! we don’t no what she’s like to hack out on roads etc as we have never done that with heras we stated this is an honest add,and she will only go to someone who we think will understand her,bring her into work slowly and not ramp her about and further her education! ideal person would be someone who is experienced,10st or under,who’s willing and looking for a new equine partner to bring on & to eventually be able to go out & do stuff with her

He has been ridden by all abilities, although he is only 14hh he does ride slightly bigger and can carry weight within reasonhe isn't a world beater and much prefers to hack out then go in the school but he will pop a jump or two- he hasn't done much schooling with us as wasn't bought for this, so he does not pick up the correct canter lead on the right reinhe's a very cheeky chap and will be missed but he is wasted with us and we need to do what is best for him, he will not be sold unseen and new homes will be vettedgood points: * good to hack * good doer * good to shoe/for farrier * good to load & travel- has been on both trailers and lorries * up to date with teeth & vaccinations * doesn't kick bad points: * has mallenders on both front legs - we are happy to disclose all information on this privately to serious potential buyers * will need to be sedated to clip and for the dentist - i think if someone was confident and patient they would be able to clip without sedation or with a twitch at times but want to make the potential buyer aware he's not just going to fall asleep when you clip * has had ulcers in the past but is now clear although rosco may be suitable for a novice rider, the care needed for him and his legs are not and will need an experienced owner for this, preferably someone who has knowledge of mallenders, so we will not entertain novices coming to view himif he has been left a while it only takes 2 minutes on the lunge and he's good to go and realises it's too much like hard work! we have never taken him hunting but think he would be fine to do so, although jumping may be out of the question! he is currently barefoot but has had both fronts and full sets - we have taken then off and put them on based on his workload and time of year he is currently stabled day and night with us, but is happy to be stabled or turned out - but as he is a typical cob he will get fat on fresh air we are on quite a busy yard so is used to children, dogs, machinery and isn't fazedhe will have a look at bigger vehicles but with a slight squeeze of the leg he will carry on no botherrosco has been with us for 8 years but is sadly looking for a new home due to a change in the owners circumstances, please don't be put off by his age, he has very low milage and has been mainly used for hacking, rosco is a fun, loving and willing to please pony, in the 8 years we have had him he has never let us down and has always taken care of his riderhappy to go first or lastif you have already enquired about him and viewed him, unfortunately you were not suitablehe is quite happy to plod about but can go up a gear as and when required, but will go back to being on the buckle afterwards, he's not fazed by others that may spook or dance about, he is not strong but is there in your hand when you take up a contact if needed, he has been on fun rides where he is quite happy to go at any pace and take in the scenery hacks alone and in company but does prefer company until he knows his surroundings but is never nasty or nappy, just unsureif your wanting to be the next charlotte dujardin on a cob he is not for youhe has been out of work for a couple of months so is unfit but it wont take much to get him back up to speed and he is the sort that can be left a day or twothey are stabled near a hs2 site and we have passed all sorts with himtrainers/instructors/friends/family welcome to come along to a viewing tack and rugs will be included in price serious enquires only, we have tried to be as honest in our advert as possible and will continue to be honest if we are messaged so we don't waste your time, so please don't waste ours
