We don’t have any newly hatched chicks & we won’t have any now till april/may as the breeding season has now come to an endour quails love to have sand baths so we provide them with boxes full of playsand & they love to lay in them & sun batheall of our quails are fed organic layers pellets & organic mixed corn & love fresh salad & vegetables which they have on a daily basis aswell as garden worms & ants which they love to dig forwe only have these 12 females left now out of 28they are eating layers pellets & mixed corn & they will come with a freezer bag size of corn & pellets to last 1/2daysthey are all currently living at room temperature but they can either go outside now/in a couple of week or they can stay indoors till springwe also don’t have any older quails availablethey also have oyster shell grit scattered over the coop floor as this help the male & female quails to grind up & digest their food more easily & also helps the females lay nice normal eggsanymore information then please get in contactthese females are £12 each or 6 for £60 or all 12 for £100cash on collection or paypal once here to collect or we can deliver upto mins away from longleat area of wiltshire for a small fee to cover fuel & my time,cash on delivery or paypal before handing overfemales normally lay their very first eggs at 8-10weeks old,some may not lay till weeks old but this depends on the temperature outside & the females mood/housing but all of ours have laid at 9-10weeks oldthey are all now 9weeks oldwe do sell hatching eggs for delivery/postage or collection but currently out of stock as not getting many eggs per day now due to the colder weatherhere at quailmadness we hatch out our very own corturnix/japanese quails from our very own female & male quailsthey are at point of lay now
