12yr old irish cob geldingarby is not a novice ride and would suit a confident teenager/adult looking for a cob with a bit of spice as he definitely isn’t a plod alonghowever if you own your own transport and this is something you can do with kindness and patience then i don’t think it would take too long to build up his confidencearby is brilliant to school on the flat, with 3 lovely forward paceshowever i’m sure with consistency, this cycle will easily be brokeni have owned arby for over a year and he’s given me the best year of my life, however due to work etc i no longer have the time he deserves and it just isn’t fair as he loves attentionshowing is our forte, always coming home with redsarby is a gem to handle on the ground, to groom, tack up etc and loves the attention & of course treats?? but is never nippyi hire someone to load him and travel him as i don’t have my own box or trailer to practice withwe are working at prelim level dressage and consistently score above 65% and he will jump a course of 60cm no problemopen to vettings etc and will come with all tack (fitted saddle) and full wardrobe (10+ rugs) £ read morehe is not a fanhas uncapped potential with the right rider, i’m surearbs requires a strong and confident rider to jump him as if it’s anything over his safe height (cm) he does tend to doubt himself and want to run out last minute (however will never stop dead in front) but can jump 1m with ease when feeling confidentarbys biggest downfall is loadinghacking in company he is brilliant however hacking by himself has become a struggle lately as he will just nap until you let him go home, it’s something we’re working on however with my lack of time our bad habits are getting the better of us

He does like to lead when out with a few horses for a ride but this could be my fault as i always let my daughter follow us1 irish cob came from ireland as a 5 year old and was used by previous owner to hunt which he is brilliant at apperently and loves also beach rides and used to nanny young racehorses on the yard he was kept she used to lead 2 and ride him to exercise them on the roads and lanes she had him 6 years and also did cross country with him then fell pregnant and i bought him in the last year i have used him as a happy hacker to hack out with my young daughter and her ponyhappy to answer any questions and send more photos if you are genuinely interestedhe is turnout 24/7 no rugs always comes to call and will follow my daughter in from the field with no head collar on he trusts humans and is like a best friend very gentle my daughter can do anything with himgood to groom bath and ties up for the farrierhe is snaffle mouth and can be strong hunting appently but i have never done thishe comes with tack and rugs want to find my boy a home where we can keep in touch if possible my reason for selling is i need a horse to drive for my son and if i could drive danny i would but i can't afford 3 ponies and as always mums get the short end of the deal
