Collection westbury wiltsthe quails are unsexedthey hatched out on tuesday 6th october,they are ready to leave nowthey will start to fly at about 2weeks oldthey are drinking water but they will need stones in the bottom of the water dish till they are 2weeks old as this helps them to not fall & drownwhen they are 4weeks old they will need mixed corn & layers pellets mixed in the the crumb but each day add more corn & pellets & have less crumb then at 6weeks old the should be fully off crumbi have had 44 japanese quail hatch out of 53eggs,they eggs came from my own adult quailsmore due to hatch on 22nd october, last hatch till next yearduring the summer they can be sexed at 4/5 weeks old but during the colder weather from now can’t tell the sexes till about 8/10 weeks old this is because they need 14hrs of daylight time to be able to either lay eggs the girls or males will foam out of their bits & will crow slightlythey are eating chick crumb which they will eat till 6weeks oldany more information then please contact methey will need a heatlamp till 4 or 5weeks old then will need to live at room temperature till 7weeks old when they can then move outside into a rabbit hutch with separate run or run underneaththey are best living in 3s or more so i will only let them leave in 2 or moreonly 16 quails left

Hes a rare gray colour and he hatched out from my adult quail eggs,he’s the last one of the hatch left needing a home,he would love some female company,i do have 1 female that i was keeping but if you would like this male and need a female than you can have the the female who’s the same ageshe’s a dark brown/black quail with spotty chestfor more information just ask£2 for the male or £5 for male and female,i will not sell the female on her own as i would rather keep heri have 1 male japanese quail needing a home,he’s 6week old and ready to go outside now
