The Sony A58 DSLR Camera is very good Value item as are most of the Sony Range and It has features on it that are only found on more expensive makes. I have taken a lot of pictures and have had no issues at all, using the Auto feature is ideal for most occasions and you can if feeling adventurous have a look at the other features the A58 offers to make more creative pictures. Its a solid reliable and great value Camera that will give you years of trouble free Photography.

The camera is great, gives good enough quality in auto modes and has a good burst mode allowing some amazing in action shots. It also has an OK Low light modes which under the right conditions could take some amazing photos of the night sky. The overall resolution is a bit lower than modern similar RRP cameras, however the most people this wouldn't matter and it is a great beginner / semi-pro camera. The main downside is the RAW (ARW) Image format is Awful to deal with.

Takes good clear photos. The only problem being when I tried to take photos of artist's paintings the standard kit lens causes a large amount of barrel distortion. This is not normally noticeable in everyday photos but is very noticeable when taking a photo of a painting. Apart from that it is a good camera.

A very good camera. My first cmos chip camera, Good allrounder.. Great beginners camera. even good for a seasoned amature. Low light pictures are better than i thought. Bit of noise. But nothing that can't be lived with if you learn about noise to signal ratios and exposure times.
