I have always liked the Allman Brothers and the sound of Southern American rock. So anyone in the same frame of mind as me would certainly find it worth a listen. I don't actually class a cd as a product as the music is produced in the recording studio and not on a conveyor belt. The album itself I would score 10 out of 10. It was Gregg Allman's last album and put his heart and soul into every number.

The final album - not quite finished when Gregg Allman died earlier this year. About a half of the songs reach the heights - both vocally & musically. However, for me, the rest of the song selection don't really add anything to his legacy. For instance - there is yet another version of Lowell George's "Willing". It is nicely played and sung - but so were most of the many earlier versions. LG himself recording it at least twice. But others such as "Love like Kerosene" really hit the spot. A good album then - but as a final statement - it could have been much better with a cannier selection of songs.
