Nice and sturdy, and with stabilisers, it is additionally held in position, (to prevent bending, with the years). Perhaps if the part that goes in the ground were made of non-ferrous material, it would last for yet more and more years. However, we like it very much, for its strength and reasonably enduring qualities. Ours has to withstand the weight of corvids, (the crow family) - as well as small passerines, (perching birds), especially in the spring and early summer, when they are feeding their young. Wooden structures assist the access by felines (cats), but metal, as here, prevents that. A very good buy. Happy to endorse it.

Not easy to put into the ground , metal poles are too long , which makes the bird feeder lean to one side . Box arrived ripped also

A well made product. Costs a little bit more but well worth it. Very sturdy just knocked the bottom tube into the lawn using a block of wood to prevent damage by the hammer. I didn't need all the tubes as Its quite tall (didn't need the short tube). I'm reluctant to use the feeding dishes at the moment as there's to many wood pigeons. The small birds are all over it as they're feeding their young.
