I bought this tv in order to be able to watch TV in a motorhome when there is no mains electricity available. I wasn’t expecting much as 12v TV’s have never been renowned for their picture quality. This tv is powered either from the mains 240v or with the included solar panel. I was pleasantly surprised by the picture quality & sound from this TV. Ok, it’s not going to match premium brand tv’s that run off 240v only, as the vibrancy of colour isn’t quite as good, but you really do have to study it to pick fault. For everyday viewing Its ideal & its massive plus point is that this will run for hours from battery alone . The solar panel is very heavy & bulky & it’s claimed that it will recharge the battery over the course of 1 day though I‘m yet to see how well the solar panel recharges the TV as it’s faster & easier to just plug it into the mains with its adapter to recharge. The casing isn’t particularly robust & the remote control also feels a bit cheap. Overall though there doesn’t seem to be anything like it on the market for that sort of price & Im happy that it has the versatility to be used anywhere & isn’t reliant on mains electricity. It’s a shame that it has no internet features ( which you could connect to your mobile as a wi fi hotspot ) which is a surprise not to have smart features on new TV’s, but I guess that would deplete the battery & has been left off for a reason. The only negative I could find is that the high gain Ariel supplied is next to useless but this was quickly solved by purchasing a portable uni directional high gain aerial for less than £5.Read full review

It's an 'OK' TV,, picture is good, battery is good, includes solar panel and aerial., BUT There Is No Sound Output! Sound quality is not that good on these small flat screens, and previously we had a headphone jcak connected to our sound system, but there is NO SOUND OUTPUT!

I was very unsure about this tv as I was looking for a 'wireless' tv, that could be wall mounted in the kitchen and move to the wall on the patio when required. We have wall mounted TV's elsewhere in the house but I built surrounds for them so that there are no visible cables. This isn't possible in the kitchen and there is no main aerial point nearby. I wanted to be able to play media, netflix, you tube, Iplayer etc. On a screen bigger than a tablet or phone. In the summer, also on the patio, wall mounted with no cables on show. This tv came from the supplier Fergus, within 24 hours-superb service fully tracked by DHL. The tv comes with several accessories that I wont need to use but I am sure are useful for camping etc. (Solar panel and 2 usb lights). I plugged the tv into the power/charger lead and within a short space of time it was fully charged. You can toggle between power saving modes, which change the brightness of the screen. The instructions are clear, remote and tv easy to use. Given what I want to use this for, I plugged in my chromecast, using the usb charging option as there are 2 ports on the tv for this. Set up chromecast, took the power lead out and was up and running. One completely wireless tv, wall mounted using vesa 100 x 100 bracket. Rechargeable by the power lead when necessary. The picture is really good, nice and clear with a matt screen that reduces glare for outdoors. The sound is perfectly adequate for my needs but given the usb and hdmi ports, you could add a wireless speaker to enhance. I cannot review the solar panel or aerial as I will not be using these but this tv is perfect for my cable free needs! Hopefully it continues to work without issue but essentially as it mirrors my mobile phone and casts multiple apps and media, its turned into a 22 inch tablet for £200. Very pleased indeed!Read full review

A great TV. I bought it for its battery feature for power cuts etc. and travelling. But within a few minutes of setting it up to the solar panel it was working! The sound is a bit 'tinny' but I've become accustomed to it so my only real criticism would be that the 22" is very small; only really practical for a small area or room, but a larger size wasn't available at the time. I would recommend it for its extra facilities and built in Freeview is great.
