overall a good product, my only complaints are due to using better mp3's in the past making this one seem less in comparison. the battery life is alright, i have used it on a long car trips multiple times now and it will run out after about 4 hours, which is not bad, though if i am just using it for 40mins bursts 2-3 times i find it will need charging by the end of the day. but i have had previous ones that last even longer, lasting multiple days. the buttons are functional, but the layout is unlike other mp3's i have used so getting used to the new positions is taking some time. also one of the buttons on my mp3 doesnt feel right, like normally you press a button you can feel it depress and you know instantly it has been pressed. one of my buttons is hard to determine if it has been pressed when you have pressed it because it barely depresses. when storing music files onto the mp3 they appear to automatically arrange themselves alphabetically, which can be useful, but it means having to rename all my music files if i want them in a particular order, previous mp3's i have used had the order set by the order in which you place them onto the mp3, which i preferred as i didnt have to modify anything i just moved files onto my mp3 a few at a time, or an album at a time and all those songs would be grouped together.Read full review

Well constructed with good sound quality, my only concern is that it plays content in alphabetical order of title rather than order of download or track number. This is not good for classical or musicals, where the order of play is important. It has bass boost and equalisation settings and custom equalisation is possible. The quick-start leaflet is very basic but the manual can be obtained on the net with access via the player when plugged in to a computer and the usb contents read. I was very pleased with the quality of construction as the casing is anodized aluminium, and the sound quality is quite good even with the supplied ear buds.

If all you need is a MP3 player, this is really good. I haven't been able to get it full yet but easy to use especially in the dark as I use it when I can't sleep and battery lasts well so it suits me.
