A very impressive APS sensor camera. Having owned many cameras, this camera produces very sharp photos that are of the same quality as my Canon and Nikon mid range DLSRs, but being considerably smaller and lighter. The two main disadvantages are the obvious lack of a view finder and in-camera battery charging. However, the screen brightness is fine (I can see it even on a bright day) and I purchased a Sony external battery charger & spare Sony battery. Highly recommended!

This is a excellent lightweight easy to use camera. I purchased this as my first foray into photography and I've not been disappointed. Best images can be achieved by purchasing a decent prime lens however if money is tight excellent results can be achieved using adapted vintage lens. More advanced features are included on higher models in this range but you should go with this model to learn the basics.
