It just gets on with cleaning the pool while you get on with other things. It's easy to set up, and easy to clean out, with lots of room for leaves etc. There are 2 filters. one on the inlet hose and one big one inside the body. Keep these clear and it will keep going at full speed. It will not clean the walls, although it does it's best to climb up and so cleans the angle between the floor and the wall. It doesn't clean the corners of my rectangular pool and can't get under the ladder, but leaves the rest of the pool spotless.

I have to be honest and say I purchased this fully expecting to be returning it as a useless piece of junk....however after just a few hours scurrying around the bottom of our 16 x 4ft Intex pool it is safe to say it is staying here ! I assumed it would be connected to the "vacuum" side going into the pump but in fact it is connected to the outlet side of the pump / inlet side of the pool and is "pushed around" by a water jet emitted from the end of the housing. This changes direction every 30 seconds or so by an internal water powered motor which directs water through one of two outlets on either end. If it touches anything or drags on the hose etc it will also change direction hence after a while it randomly cleans the whole pool - in my case this took about an hour and a half of (mainly sitting watching as it fascinated us whilst) doing it's stuff. The amount of waste - leaves, dirt, debris, a small amount of sand from the filter and spent chlorine that it collects in a chamber is truly impressive - and I thought our pool was fairly clean - well it is now ! Cleaning is a simple matter of hauling it out, disconnecting 4 clips to un-couple the lower half (the top half remaining connected to the hose) and emptying / washing out the collection tank and mesh filter which can be done in a sink etc. I have left it permanently connected as the pump runs on a timer for 1 hour a day, 3 times and it has kept the pool absolutely spotless....needless to say it will not be going back :) edit..... after 3 months the pool is cleaner than it ever has been with virtually no effort..... OK so I have to empty out the crud resevoir and rinse the mesh every week or two but that's no hardship compared to using a vacuum pool cleaner ! Very impressed with thisRead full review

does what it says on the tin cleans my pool very well, I was a bit dubious when I bought this as it was one of the cheaper models available. Glad I picked this one, just left to its own devices it moves about the pool with no effort even over the few creases I have in the bottom. Mine is an older bestway pool with only small exit holes so have plummed it direct to the filter without any problems and away it goes, if there are any larger particles of sand in the pool I push them away from the sides into the pool middle and it soon hovers them away. Would recommend this cleaner ive got a 20x10 pool for ref.

It is sturdy , robust and easy to use . The challenge is that running at full power the battery does not last long i.e. 1.5 hours

I’ve got above ground pool and bought this on the off chance that it might work. After a little bit of adapting the end, we were away. It cleans all night long for a spotless pool. Fantastic. Worth every penny x
