Saw this on the Gadget Show and bought it. This is one of the new version less expensive sports cameras that can fill the gap between the really cheap import cameras that do nothing very well and the high cost GoPro's at the top end. I particularly like the in camera stabilization (only works with the 1080p setting) when moving and leave this switched on all the time. It works best in outdoor bright conditions, but still has something to offer indoors. Tests, both walking and cycling have shown it can cope well with these, though a gimbal will always be better; and if you are looking for that sort of thing, then you will probably buy a GoPro anyway. I also bought it because I like to use it underwater where you lose the red colour spectrum. I have yet to test this out and I suspect it will have mixed results at different depths, but its inclusion as an option is a step up from previous sports cameras. The rear screen is responsive and shows as much information about what the camera is doing as you want it to by scrolling through the views. The supplied remote seems to work, though it is not something I would use often. It might be good if you are using the camera on a drone to follow your progress, or if you only want to record certain parts of a journey or scene. Plenty of attachments are provided and the manual does a reasonable, if basic, job of showing you how to secure it to various items as you often need combinations of attachments to make it work. The various quality settings work well, particularly the 4k, though with the proviso mentioned earlier that the in-camera stabilization doesn't work here, so you need a steady hand or a tripod if you want super smooth video. Another bonus is that you get two batteries and a double-battery charger so you can replenish them at the same time. This is a really small affair, so be careful you do not lose it. I don't use these sorts of cameras for stills, not point when I have always have my phone with me.Read full review

For the price it is very good. Has the functionalities of GoPro, but the overall quality of pictures and video is a little bit worse. In the end you get what you pay for (and even a little bit more)
