This is a low cost thermometer which seems to work well. I bought it because we need to have carers in and I thought heck, I don't know if I have a temperature so I could not measure to see if I were to have a possible cov-19 symptom! You can't welcome carers in as normal if you and risk passing anything on into them. I am thus now ready, if I have any symptom of a virus to measure my temperature.

Bought this to replace an old one we had for 20 years as kids grew up. This looks ok seems to do its job but the temperature seems a degree or two Under the norm. Mine should be 37 ish but this says I’m at 35.3 which means I have hypothermia!! As long as I use that as my norm I suppose I can tell if I’m over by 1 or 2 degrees but not ideal .

No instructions or carry-case even though the box it came in said there were. Haven't tried it 'in earnest' but don't have much confidence in it and I don't know if it is good value or good quality yet. I only bought it because I couldn't get one made by a reputable manufacturer.
