I bought this camara after having my last one stolen from my house. The theif left me with all the accessories. My dilema was to sell the accessories and buy a new camara or stay with one i knew and i had the extra bits for. SIMPALS look for another S5500 i thought after all this was a fairly easy digital SLR and you dont need to have worked in Jessops to use it. Having a point and click mode really helped when i was learnig to use it but it did all i wanted its pictures were of a good quality and i know that some studio's even use them, although compared to me they use them to their full potential. It can be like all medium/large camara's a pain slung around your neck all day so i would say unless you intend to go taking lots of lovely piccies this may not be what you need a compact would suit you better. What do i dislike about this camara? nothing really except theives like them because the camara looks impressive. I would be hard pressed to find another like it and that answers the question would i buy another.......i did ....i have....and i'm happy....thanks to Fuji for making such a fine camara ....and thanks to Ebay for finding another...any questions about the product other than how much will you give me for your original to be returned i can be contacted through Ebay as 2007allder i hope this helps if your buying one .....jimRead full review

Absolutely love the camera. Cannot get over the clarity of the pictures. Once you learn the mechanics, it is easy to use with great results. The LED screen might be a little small, but to take really good pictures, I think you need to use the viewfinder. That is what I do. Very, very impressed with the camera. I would definitely buy another Fujifilm camera.
Make sure you use rechargeable batteries, regular ones will just quickly keep flashing up the running low symbol. But otherwise good economic camera.
