Condition: -
A little glaze crazing as seen with most pottery that is vintage.
Also, blotchy brownish shading is noticeable, on the inside only of the jar.
Good condition considering its age.
Although there is a seal on the lid of the jar, these lids were never particularly airtight. It has been repaired along the edge at sometime as can be seen in the photograph.
I overcame this problem by putting the jar contents into plastic bags within the jar.
The wooden lid may benefit from a coat of varnish but I am leaving this to the
Purchaser as some may prefer the original appearance.
Some are a bit scuffed with wear and tear due to the age
I am selling lots of things that I have hoarded over the years in order to down size.
