This performance received excellent reviews both for the ballet performance although the sets were rather bland in comparison with the ROH production.
The grouping of the swans and choreography was superb and received much critical acclaim.
Has tragic ending with both Prince Siegfried danced by Francesco Frola and Odette danced by Erine Takahashi dying at the finale by both throwing themselves off the cliff, and ending with them both being taken up into eternity on a sleigh.
The orchestral playing by the English National Ballet Philharmonic orchestra conducted by Gerry Cornelius was excellent, along with the dancing.
