Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best-selling in iPods & MP3 Players
I trust creative products and this one is a very small and light mp3 player. It takes many songs even without the SD card extension (this feature can give you the chance to increase memory until 80GB total!!). I like the WiFi feature that helps you connect to your PC songs library. Easy to use. I don't like the fact that you cannot upload songs directly from your PC via WiFi. Regarding its era, it's one of the best mp3 players. Today with touch-screen technology available, it seems that it is not as easy to use.
It missed the mark because no operating instructions were supplied so it was left to the purchasers to find out how to operate the device by trial and error methods.

The Ergonomics The Zen fits into your palm and is a sleek black with perspex screen, although made out of relatively cheap materials, the casing is solid and gives the impression of a more expensive construct. As for the buttons, they are small and relatively unmarked, in a format of 3*3 (with four shortcut buttons placed above and below the four corner buttons). The colour and size is rather attractive, but is made of a cheap material so if you want functionality over 'bling' then you should look else where. Functions and Extras I will start with the obvious - the music playback. this MP3 player comes with an equalizer by the name of X-Fi. This gives your music a fresh sound, accentuation higher frequency sounds and balancing out the harshness with necessary bass balance. This gives for an above average sound quality on otherwise inadequate sound files. The end result is an overall refreshing and high quality music playback that ill give alll music genres a professional finish. The video playback - also a nice feature - gives the user about 2.5 (approx) inches of screen to view their favourite films, with decent sound quality when listening through the premium revised set of in-ear headphones. The PPI is average and gives an average result when displaying pictures and video. But this is to be expected on a medium that is specialized for music playback. Overall, the video playback is good - although it is nothing to call hme about - and can fit a reasonable amount films onto default memory so you can be entertained all day. Here are some of the extras you get: - FM Radio - Networking gateway - SD Card memory slot (expandable memory) - Microphone (quite sensitive) - Wide support of multiple file types - Radio recieved premium headphones - Monoural speaker (placed bopttom right of Zen player - Disc with media manager, and video converter, along with help docs Evaluation Overall I rate the Zen X-Fi an 8/10 for its functionality and resourcefulness with the extras. With great sound quality and adequate screen size and video quality you can't go wrong with this buy (as a present of for yourself). Hope you found this review usefull. Have a good day ^_^.Read full review
