This USB Wi-Fi dongle works good, after you download/install the correct drivers for it.This can be tricky but is worth the search.Version 4 was the right one for mine.Better than having a v.long LAN cable.

The software on the cd was dated 2009 and was version 2. The correct up to date later version software was not available rendering the item useless.

used on win 7, win 8.1, not tested on win 10 but I think I remember seeing others say win 10 driver issues. very good at picking up signal, electric wall type boosters pick up at best 68% signal (various types used), this in the same room, same corner gets full signal and is running speed tests with 12 ping and full 38/10 fibre, with no drops. tip use an usb extension to put it away from pc or pc screen as wireless signals don't like either, I found letting it dangle behind desk down on floor away from pc and screen and away from power cable gives a full crisp solid signal. better than a 2x5dbi Ariel pci card type on same pc.
