I was worried K1 would be just a slightly faster than PRIV, but it ended up being 10x faster in many cases. Apps update in a second - it used to take 10-30 seconds on PRIV. 4GB of RAM never gets full. Battery lasts almost 2 days, compared to PRIV with the same usage style (and more apps installed). The keyboard is better, and it's hard to type anything on PRIV anymore. I am really enjoying this phone.

Great phone, a little large for most hands (I possess very large hands so, no problem), easy to set up and use. Absolutely delighted with this phone with its 64GB of internal storage and an added 64GB expansion card seems to handle everything that I've thrown at it so far. The hardened OS also seems to be pretty good, if only at Android 8 (no idea about updating to the current OS iteration of version 11, i.e. whether there's a BlackBerry hardened version - a quick look at the website suggests not). I've put my favourite apps on, favourite AV & Firewall suite (with a separate VPN client which is much faster than the Security suite bundled, at extra cost, version - reasons unknown for speed difference) plus found a whole lot more from the Google store. The move to a virtual keyboard, from my BlackBerry Q10 mechanical keyboard, is a little bit of a trial as it's the one time that my large hands and fingers work against me (a whole lotta typing corrections!) but, all of the advantages and extras far outweigh that inconvenience. Battery life is brilliant, I've gone from needing to charge the phone every night to once every 2 to 2.5 days (as the battery is fixed, non changeable this, I hope is a permanent fixture). The long and short of this is that, I love this phone and wish that I'd invested in one earlier - the icing on the cake is that, with a belt holster, it was about a third of the price of the retired Q10.Read full review

Most elegant phone ever created, beautiful sound reproduction on the YouTube video side.. Great speakers akin to harman kardon quality... Large pixel display so you immerse more into what your seeing, only down side is the camera on people... Mind you colour saturation in great for general photography with gr8 film simulations.. If your the Arty type that is.. Dual keyboard is a mega plus

Build quality is off the charts good. Lovely hand feel (the back grip is perfect). Keyboard is excellent - although I prefer the keyboard on the BB Classic. I also miss BBOS 10 but what can one do since BB have stopped supporting. Keyone will update to Android 8.1.0 'Oreo' (July 2019). Very happy with the phone. BB fans will be pleased but the Android is a bit disorientating at the start and the BB HUB is NOT the same ... unfortunately. A real head turner (as always) when one takes it out. Also, as one would expect, this is a business tool - a real phone ... not a 12 year old girlie iPhone. This is a phone for serious people but it can handle the girlie social media and little boy games if that is your thing. :-p
