Yes you can buy cheaper 40" HD TV's but they tend to be low quality 'economy' brands. This is a quality TV (Samsung- by royal appointment), with great features like usb input for example. It has a good energy efficiency rating and at this price is great value. Having trawled the net for the size and spec I wanted, this was by far the best deal out there. This same TV model in my local supermarket (Te**o), was £60 more!
This is a superb TV - we are delighted with it - the HD is excellent and the price was very good indeed. We were able to buy it for only £320. It doesn't have many outlets - like there isn't a vga inlet though there is a 'multi card' outlet and hdmi outlets, as I remember though because it was a gift for my daughter - to say more I'd need to look up the outlets (and inlets) which is what I recommend is done. We've attached a Wii- and can access the internet that way - and can get ITV and BBC Player and Catch Up TV - as well as NetFlix.. We're using a Foxcom HDR box and get loads of programmes that way as well - for free - as it attaches to the internet.
Very happy with the Tv sharp image good colour and excellent value. Couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Good value for money TV, really good quality tv however I use it to play games and had no problems with it so far, never tried it to use it as tv so I havent tested that feature out yet but I am sure it works just fine. Will recomend it to anyone as its good value for the money.
