This is a very good effort from Toshiba. The picture quality is stunning for the price, the sound is above average and the connectivity is excellent. Good features are the ability to select the audio output on the minjack from headphone to line output for your hifi, full recording facilities via usb flash, 3 hdmi inputs, digital out and various other useful connections. Now the bad points. It's so flimsy it will almost blow away, really flimsy. It has some annoying oddities too. For instance, when you're on youtube the aspect ratio is locked out so some videos are displayed like a postage stamp! Weird. I have tried to get round it but you can't. Also a lack of Amazon Prime app is daft and unavailable to add. Another weirdness is the audio output from the scart mutes the sound on all smart apps! For the money though it's a good TV, without the oddities it would be a great one.Read full review

Overall good tv. Remote is a bit rubbish, it's like pressing a skeleton & feels like it's going to break when pressing the buttons. The Sound is not so good ether. It's alright for the price. If it's for a small room or just for gaming the sound is fine. In a Small room you don't need it loud and gaming comes through the headphones now. listening to music very high doesn't produce very good sound. It works for me though so I should stop complaining haha.

Having failed to get Chromecast and Miracast 'dongles' to work effectively/reliably on my TVs, I bought 1 Toshiba for the lounge and was able IMMEDIATELY to cast from my laptop to the TV - actually watched the John Mills/ Finlay Currie B&W version of Great Expectations via my British Film Institute membership - excellent. Then found that my bedroom T.V wasn't able to receive terrestrial T.V from my brand-new high-gain aerial!, so bought ANOTHER Toshiba smart T.V. - perfect pictures on aerial, and casting, and now 300+ cable TV channels via my 2 upgraded Virgin V6 boxes. All in all a GR8 result - thank you Toshiba!
