I had mice problems inside my shed, the first night it captured three mice, on the second night two. On the third night it didn't catch anything due to being no mice left in the area! It's a great machine I just baited the inside between the entrance tunnels and it worked fine, although there was very little to eat in the trapping area. Please be aware that as you have paid extra to be able to catch and release (a humanitarian) put some bedding material inside to keep them warm in winter and absorb any "waste" they leave behind. All in all I'm very happy with it and the mice don't object, well not in writing anyway. PLEASE don't forget the check the trap every day to stop anything starving to death and also when in storage ensure the lid is kept open a little to let anything out that could creep in without you knowing. Would buy again without hesitation.Read full review

We are trying a selection of humane traps on our local escape artist who appears to be a house mouse. So fat this is the most successful trap we have tried as it took him around an hour to work out how to get out, and since then he has been repeatedly visiting to eat the cheese we put into it. A good trap for dumb mice, not so great for smart ones.

I tried for month after month to entice the mice into this machine. Smoked Salmon, Bacon, Cheese, Dog food, cat food, Ham, lamb, Beef, Fish, All of Tesco food counter. Caught Nothing ! Looks Good but does not do the job in any way shape or for. Sat and watch the Pair of Rascals go over the top round it but Never ever venture into it. I do think the Mice of today are a 1000% sharper then the idiots of the 1940 s and 1950 s etc.

I put little pieces of cracker with peanut butter and chocolate spread on, and some seed bird food too, both in the trap and along the little tunnel entrances. No joy yet. I have today put same food outside the trap, on the floor of the cupboard behind which the mouse is nesting (I find bedding fluff, that's how I know). I hope with a tempting trail like this it may yet go into the box. I will post again if successful.

I bought this trap as we found we had a mouse under the sink cabinet. Placed it there for 2 days containing a few sweets, dried fruit & mini cheddars and by the 2nd day we had him! I was pretty excited. Trap is good quality, easy to clean to re-use and saves having to clean up splattered mouse from a regular spring trap! You need to release the mouse quite a distance away to stop them coming back but it seemed a far kinder way to get rid than killing it. If you had more than one mouse it would easily capture a few. Very happy with this purchase.
