She isn't spooky and loves a good blast across the fields, but is equally happy with a walk and trot up the roadshe does like a balanced rider with soft hands, she can on occasion scoot forward, her current rider just ignores this and carries on, but she's not keen if her rider then pulls on her mouthshe would be amazing on the hunting field as she's so safe to hack, in a group she will wait while the others leaveagain, totally not spooky and jumps all the fillersto handle, she's easy to do, can be a little nervous with new people and need a treat to catch, but once she knows you, follows you like a dogshe jumps ditches, piles of straw in the stubble fields etcif you are looking for a fun pony to go on endless adventures, this is the one for youregularly hacks alone with a 13 year oldthis pony will be brilliant with someone who wants to build a bond and have a new best friendin the school she's a little green but so honest to a jump and tries her heart outshe excels at hacking, any traffic, any field, she's up for itsnaffle mouthed at all timesshe would happily do a 70cm course and with a little more work on the flat, would easily go higher

11 year old red and white irish sports pony mare hh owned rosie for two years i bought her initially as a companion for my other horse who had lost his best friend ! i’ve brought her on very slowly under saddle, she’s a forward thinking mare and is very easily trained ! she will jump anything in front of her, nothing phases rosie she’s extremely bold and loves to jump! she’s been very successful with showing (in hand) she’s been placed in every class with reserve champ before lock down last year ! ridden wise rosie can be quite forward, she can be strong when coming to a fence but nothing dangerous, she just shows willingness to her work ! she’s not a great fan of flat work but she puts in as much effort as you ask of herrosie loves her jumping i would definitely say this was her forte, she also enjoys hacking / along or in company / first or lasther manners alone are worth their weight in gold ! ideally she would suit a pony club / ode/ working hunter pony type home ! only reason for sale is i’m 5’11 and i want to get back into showing / jumping - unfortunately rosie is just too small for me and as my other horse is getting older i don’t want to push boundaries with himshe does has a scar on the inside of her back leg, all was checked on vetting when buying rosie and it’s an old injury from either barbed wire or in a trap ! rosie is very special and any potential home will be vetted, she’s not a cheap ponyshe can have a spook but again nothing that would unseat a confident rider ! she has impeccable stable manners, she will stand all day to be fussed by any part of the family, she is a real human horse and loves to be around you ! she’s brilliant with the farrier / dentist / vet - for jabs ! she’s never had any health issues with me never been lame, sick or sorrystrictly no lwvtb no loans read more
