They eat chick starter crumb from 24hrs old till they are 8wks oldjapanese quail chicks,some can’t be sexed till at least 5weeks old some can only be vent sexed at 8-10weeks oldfrom 5weeks old we start adding chicken mixed corn & layers pellets into their crumb & we add more of each day & less crumb each day so that by 8weeks old they will no longer be on the crumb anymorewe do have an older pair 1male/1hen available they are 6weeks old & off heatthey will require a heatlamp or an electric heat plate till they are 4 weeks old then they can live at room temperature till they are 8weeks old then they can move outside into a rabbit cage with run/or chicken coop£3 each or £25 for weeks old) £4 each or £35 for weeks old) £5 each or £45 for weeks old) limited amount left, don’t normally have quails past 4weeks oldthey will require oyster shell grit from 8weeks old this can be scattered on the ground this helps with the males & females digestive system & helps the hens produce nice normal eggsthis will be our last hatch till march/aprilwe here at quail madness we hatch out our own quail chicks from our adult breeding quailsor follow us on instagram quailmadness38 read moremust go togetherwe currently have japanese quail chicks that hatched out on september 15thpictures of our adult breeding quails are availablecash on collection or paypal we cant post chicks but we can deliver chicks for a small free upto 30mins away from longleat area of wiltshireour adults are fed organic mixed corn & organic layers pellets & they love digging about in the dirt finding bugs & eating them & they love iceberg lettuce£12 for the pairthey also love sand baths
