Hi this is bear i've taken him in for a neighbor as she got him a few days ago with out doing the research on the breed i believe he's border collie cross huntaway he's 10 months old fully vaccinated and microchipped he's fully house trained knows basic commands such as sit lie down and gives both paws he's cat friendly also and gd with dogs but gets very excited when he first sees them he also loves watching tv he's such a loving boy he would benefit from a home that's very active or could possibly do agility or fly ball with him i would keep him my self but i already have 2 dogs and a 3rd child on the way this boy deserves the best and he's also gd with children and he's been neutered

This is sam he is a beautiful red and white border collie with the most amazing orange eyes! we recently purchased sam and was so excited for him to join our family, he sounded like a perfect fitthe lead issue wouldn’t take long to fix at all, we have been told by trainers to walk him around the house or garden with a longline and gradually get him used to having a smaller space between you and him with the lead (the issue isn’t with the lead its with the pressure on his neck when he pulls away from you, that’s what we have found anyway) we feel sam would benefit with someone that has a lot of previous knowledge on border collies and would have the spare time to train himhe is also recall trained so once you gain his trust he will more than happily run back to you when you call his namedue to him living on a farm his whole life he also has a massive fear of leads! we have found a slip lead is a lot more comfortable for him but he still struggles with having a lead oni live in a very busy area, there’s a lot of cars, people and noise that sam isn’t used toif you feel like you could give sam a great home, please get in touch! we want the best for sam and feel the sooner he finds his people the better! read moresam has grown up on a farm, he has lived outside all year around and isn’t used to domestic livingsam is such a loving boy and we have fallen in love with him, however we cannot give him the time, energy and training that we feel he needshe is house trained, and knows his basic commands
